That is a nice bass though. I've never played a guitar with the variable scale like that. Does it take a lot to get used to?

Yeah, I've played for a long time! Have a nice little collection of basses. :)

And surprisingly, I didn't have to get used to the fanned frets at all. When you play it and look down on it, it doesn't even look too fanned, and it's quite easy to play as you regularly would!

Hmmm.... I know I've seen Mike Mushok of Staind play a baritone guitar with the variable scale and it pretty much freaked me out :) But you're right... it probably is considerably different to the person playing it.

I still think that is very cool that you play. Bass is not a 'dainty' instrument, and the fact that you choose to play it says quite a bit about your personality... or at least it does to me.
